- 09:00 AM: Stop at a Women’s Argan Oil Cooperative for Breakfast - On the way to Essaouira, we stop at a cooperative run by local Berber women, where you’ll enjoy a delicious, authentic Moroccan breakfast. Savor fresh bread, traditional mint tea, amlou (a paste made from argan oil, honey, and almonds), and a variety of other local specialties. The women will demonstrate how they produce argan oil, and you’ll have the chance to purchase high-quality, locally-made products to support their work.
- 11:00 AM: Arrive in Essaouira - Once you arrive in Essaouira, you’ll be captivated by its laid-back atmosphere, historic medina, and stunning Atlantic coastline. You’ll have several hours to explore this UNESCO World Heritage-listed city at your leisure. Highlights include the Skala du Port (a historic sea bastion), the vibrant fish market, and the medina’s narrow, winding streets filled with artisans selling jewelry, pottery, and textiles.
